Established in 1886, The Queen’s Club was the first multi-purpose sports complex ever to be built anywhere in the world. It was named after Queen Victoria, its first patron, and is widely renowned as one of the premier lawn tennis and rackets clubs in the world. The Queen’s Club has hosted as many as 25 different sporting activities and, as well as lawn tennis, has been the scene for such varied sports as ice-skating, baseball, athletics and rugby.
In 2007 the members were give the opportunity to acquire the club, Sutton Young provided the prospectus.

The property has some illustrious neighbours, from the goldfish swimming in Tyburn Brook, the hidden London river that gives Brook Street its name, to Claridge's Hotel where Gordon Ramsay is chief tastemaker.
The occupiers join a distinguished roll call: three Prime Ministers have lived on the street. Curiously there is no blue plaque for one of them, Henry Addington, Viscount Sidmouth. Possibly because he invented income tax.
The Tyburn Brook still flows, but is only visible, complete with goldfish, in the basement of the nearby Gray’s Antique Market on Davies Street.

In 1768, brothers John, Robert, James and William Adam leased a site on The Thames for a speculative development they would call the Adelphi Buildings. (Adelphoi is the Greek word for brothers.)
It would become London’s first neo-classical property. In the 1930s, the Adelphi Buildings were demolished to make way for the unashamedly Art Deco structure we see today. Designed by Colcutt and Hamp - this is The Adelphi.
Thanks to its fabulous exteriors and magnificent interiors, when the building came up for sale it was the perfect picture book opportunity.
Designed by César Pelli, IFC is made up of two skyscrapers. Tower Two is the eighth tallest office building in the world.
